Back to School Event
Each year, Jubilee’s Jubilee’s Youth Services and Resident Services teams, sponsors an event to assure our students go back to school with new backpacks filled with school supplies essential for academic success.
From pencils and rulers to backpacks and graphing calculators, the Back to School Drive helps offset the costs to Jubilee families for students return to school.
You can support this effort by stuffing bags, creating signage, setting up and staffing the storefront, and giving donations!

Elf Store
Jubilee Housing’s Elf Store is our annual event that creates a pop-up store of holiday gifts.
Kids get to pick out gifts for their family members, enjoy a cup of cocoa, and get a photograph with Santa.
The day comes alive thanks to the generosity of donors and volunteers who fund and staff the store. Volunteer shopper elves help our young customers choose age-appropriate gifts, while wrapper elves bag, box, parcel and package the gifts.

Cleaning Day
In 2026, we hosted our first Spring Cleaning day for our Mount Pleasant properties. We had around 70 volunteers to join us for a fun Saturday which included great conversations, refreshments, and tasks that made the time fly by.
For this event, be prepared to paint, clean, do yard work, and help with light maintenance.

From neighborhood resource fairs and youth showcases to policy discussions and annual celebrations, Jubilee Housing hosts and co-sponsors events throughout the year that bring our community together. These gatherings aren't extras — they're essential to the fabric of Justice Housing.
