Our Initiatives
More Than Housing
Jubilee Housing does more than provide deeply affordable homes—we are creatively transforming our community through innovative ventures and programming that influences lives.
Jubilee Farms
Jubilee Farms is a pioneering urban farm in the heart of Washington D.C. This unique venture will produce fresh vegetables while creating pathways to employment for justice-impacted individuals.
Located in the basement and on the rooftop of one of Jubilee Housing’s buildings, the farm will soon be producing food, reimagining how technology can strengthen agriculture, and creating opportunities for the community.
Jubilee to College
Our Jubilee to College (JTC) Scholarship Program helps students pursue their dreams by exposing them to college pathways and providing career exploration opportunities.
The program awards qualifying high school seniors up to $3,000 per year to support their educational goals beyond high school.
Jubilee Energy
New Partners Community Solar has partnered with Jubilee Housing for over eight years to expand access to clean energy, reduce utility costs, strengthen community resilience, and support affordable housing initiatives across Washington, D.C.
Estimated bill total credits distributed to Jubilee residents since the partnership began through December 31, 2025: ~$449,000
Jubilee’s partnership with New Partners Community Solar created D.C.'s first Low-Income Resiliency Hub at Maycroft Apartments, combining rooftop solar and battery storage to provide emergency power and essential services during grid outages.
