Jim Knight is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Jubilee Housing, where since 2002 he has led one of the region’s foremost organizations in advancing justice-driven affordable housing.
Guiding a staff of more than 90 and an annual operating budget exceeding $10.5 million, Jim has steered Jubilee through major growth and innovation by overseeing the development of nearly 300 units of deeply affordable housing valued at $150 million, with another 285 units under development.
Jim has driven initiatives that extend beyond bricks and mortar such as out-of-school programs for K–12 students, reentry housing with wraparound services for justice-impacted citizens, and Jubilee Farms—an urban farm currently in development in the basement and on the rooftop of a Jubilee property.
Before joining Jubilee Housing, Jim built extensive experience in mission-driven housing and recovery services through leadership roles at Samaritan Inns in Washington, D.C., and the Knox Area Rescue Mission in Knoxville, Tennessee.
