Patricia “Pat” Sitar was a Jubilee Housing staff member, the co-founder of Good Shepherd Ministries, and the namesake of Sitar Arts Center.

Charletta Cowling is a Jubilee Housing resident, honorary lifetime Board Member, former staff member, and neighborhood volunteer. Of her lifetime of contributions, many at Jubilee often tell the story of when her voice in a Board Meeting dramatically influenced a decision that will create 50 new units of Justice Housing.

Rosa Hatfield was a Jubilee Housing resident, staff member, and impassioned advocate for her neighbors. She was at first uncertain of the volunteers who purchased her building, The Ritz, but soon became one of Jubilee's strongest allies known for her powerful speeches.

Margaret Wanjui was a Jubilee Housing resident, Christ House staff member, and neighborhood advocate. She took Justice Housing international when she independently founded Covenant House, a two-level complex with providing housing to families in rural Kenya.

On February 23 at The Festival Center, join Jubilee Housing to celebrate Black History Month with food, live music, poetry, keynote speakers, and raffles! The 2024 event will reflect this year’s theme of African Americans and the Arts.
