Assistant Property Manager Elizabeth McIntire was born in Washington, D.C. at the old Sibley Hospital and grew up in Arlington, Virginia. She graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in English.

Elizabeth and her husband have lived in the same house in Columbia Heights for 35 years, and has been very involved with the community. She served as a long-time ANC Commissioner, and wasone of the volunteer organizers of the Columbia Heights Community Marketplace at 14th & Irving before the new construction.

Elizabeth served for three years as a property manager at Tax Credit/Section 8 complex on 14^th St., a job which prepared her for work at Jubilee Housing. She is absolutely thankful to have been at Jubilee Housing since Feb.2007. She says, "I love to see residents enjoying their renovated units and having opportunity to expand their dreams."

Elizabeth enjoys reading, going to movies, and spending quiet time in the country.
