a look into the future
There will be several new features to building community once renovations are complete. First, of course, the residents will have new, completely renovated apartments. Other new amenities will include a technology center, wellness center, and multipurpose classrooms. Residents will have access to each of the amenities even if they are not located in their building.
Already, the basement space of the Fuller and Mozart buildings are home to Jubilee Youth Services, a new program component of Jubilee Housing that offers after-school programming for more than 30 children in grades K-12.
Jubilee Housing will be deepening its partnership with several other neighborhood missions as a part of the renovation process. Christ House will be a partner in Phase II renovations, as members of its Kairos Program will occupy the basement and first floor of the Euclid building. A new program, Jubilee JumpStart, is planned for the basement of the Ontario Court. This exciting new mission expects to provide around-the-clock daycare services for children ages newborn to four years old.
